Plumbing Maintenance Plan in Billerica, MA

A Membership That Isn't a Sales List

The Opus Plan costs $99 a year and does four things: puts you ahead of non-members in the schedule, drops the dispatch fee to zero on every visit, takes 15% off repairs, and opens up offers that don’t go out publicly. That’s the whole product, and the part it doesn’t cover matters just as much.

What You Get for $99 a Year

Inside the Opus Plan Annual Plumbing Membership
Most memberships are a discount card that turns into a sales list. This one earns its keep across the year rather than on the day you sign up.

What the Plan Isn't

Why There's No Annual Service Visit Included

Plenty of plumbing memberships are sold as maintenance plans and built as discount cards. Ours is a discount card, and we’d rather say so than let you work it out in February.

The $99 does not buy you a yearly boiler check, a water heater flush or a tankless descale. Those are real services, they’re the things that actually keep equipment alive, and they’re booked and paid for separately. What the plan does is make each of them cheaper and get you on the calendar first.

So if you came here looking for a boiler maintenance plan in the sense of a contract that sends someone out every autumn, this isn’t that yet. Annual boiler service, water heater maintenance and tankless descaling are all available to anyone, member or not.

Is It Worth It
for Your House?

Who the Opus Plan Actually Suits

It suits a house that calls a plumber more than once a year. Older homes in Woburn, Winchester and Chelmsford tend to, because original systems generate small jobs on their own schedule. A boiler, a tankless unit or a house with more than two bathrooms all push the same direction.

It suits somebody who wants to be first in line in January rather than fifth.

And it doesn’t suit everybody. If you’ve called a plumber twice in ten years and your equipment is newer, the plan probably won’t earn its $99 back, and we’ll tell you that on the phone rather than sign you up. You can join later, any time, and nothing about the flat written price changes either way.

Before You Join

Common Questions About the Opus Plan

No. The $99 covers priority scheduling, the dispatch fee, 15% off repairs and member offers. An annual boiler check or water heater flush is booked separately, at the member rate. We'd rather be blunt about that up front than have you assume a visit is coming and find out it isn't.

Repairs. It comes off the flat written price we quote before starting, so the discount is visible rather than baked into a number you can't check. It isn't a blanket 15% across everything we do.

Members get placed ahead of non-members when the schedule is tight. It isn't a guaranteed arrival window, and we won't pretend it is. On a normal week most people get seen quickly either way. It's the busy stretches where being a member changes your day.

Not at all. Annual service is available to anyone and we'd encourage it whether or not you ever join. Membership makes it cheaper and gets you an earlier slot. That's the difference.

Then the plan may not be worth it, and that's a fine answer. Run it against what you'd realistically call about over twelve months. If the honest number is one small job, keep your $99 and call us when something breaks.

The Call-It-Straight Standard

We Do Only the Work You Approved

Most people brace for the tech who finds four more things wrong and leans on them to fix all of it, and a membership is usually how that starts: the yearly visit becomes the sales call. We tell you what we see and what it costs if it fails, then do only what you approved. No packages, no pressure, and no member list getting worked through in the slow season. Ricky said this himself, before anybody suggested it as a selling point: if he spots a water heater on its way out while he’s there for something simple, he points out the risk, asks what you want to do, and attends to what he was called for. Being a member doesn’t change that conversation. It just changes the price at the end of it.

The Towns We Cover Across Middlesex County

Opus runs out of North Billerica and covers roughly a 20-mile radius, from the older neighborhoods of Woburn and Winchester to the affluent, boiler-heavy homes in Concord, Carlisle, and Lincoln. If your home is within about 20 miles, we most likely cover you.

Tips for Keeping Your Water Hot and Your Basement Dry

It’s about to get cold

Which pipes freeze first, what to do in October so they don’t, and what to do at two in the morning if one already has. Frozen and burst pipes  covers all of it.

You think something’s leaking

Stains, a meter still ticking with every tap shut off, a warm patch of floor. Leak detection finds where the water is actually coming from before anybody opens a wall.

Your boiler needs looking at

How often hot water and steam systems want servicing, what the annual visit includes, and which noises are worth calling about. Boiler service and repair  answers all three.
